Ingredients
1L Water
Handful baby spinach, well washed
80 grams thinly sliced smoked salmon or trout or bacon
6 eggs (1 per ramekin)
100 grams cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Few basil leaves, roughly chopped or torn

Method

  • Grease the ramekins and line with smoked salmon or bacon.
  • Place 2 pieces of baby spinach leaves in each ramekin.
  • Crack in an egg and add a dash of cream, season with salt and pepper and add the basil to taste.
  • Place the ramekins in the Varoma and cook for 15 min/Varoma/ Speed 2 for soft-boiled eggs, and 17 minutes for fully set.
